Earning Lethean
Additionally, users can earn Lethean by selling their unused internet bandwidth on the marketplace acting as exit nodes for traffic.
Technology and Usage
Lethean (LTHN) is a CryptoNote based blockchain that provides a network for users to purchase proxy and VPN services using LTHN, and proxy servers (“exit nodes”) to sell bandwidth.
As of today's date, any coin owner that has a Lethean wallet installed on their machine with a Windows or Linux operating system and the browser extension installed on the Google Chrome browser has the ability to use an exit node. Our browser extension is listed in the Google Chrome webstore. Additionally, any user with a Linux operating system installed has the opportunity to operate as an exit node in the proxy/VPN system.
Future Development
Our current software only provides for in-browser proxy features, but our forthcoming release (Q1 2019) will expand this capability to a system-wide VPN connection.
