Kiyosaki: US Economy in Depression, Bitcoin Poised for Growth

Robert Kiyosaki, renowned author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and prominent Bitcoin advocate, has expressed concerns about the current state of the U.S. economy, characterizing it as being in a "depression" due to subpar growth rates. Despite this assessment, Kiyosaki remains optimistic about Bitcoin's future, anticipating significant price appreciation.
Kiyosaki highlighted the declining economic growth rate, citing a 3.4% increase in the last quarter of 2023 followed by a 1.6% increase in the first quarter of 2024. He believes a "soft landing" for the U.S. economy is unlikely but maintains a positive outlook due to continued growth. Kiyosaki's comments have sparked discussions within the cryptocurrency community, with some supporting his assessment and others offering differing perspectives.
Kiyosaki has previously expressed bullish views on Bitcoin, predicting a price target of $100,000 by September of this year. He attributes this anticipated growth to the Bitcoin halving event that occurred in April, which reduced the rate of new Bitcoin issuance. Kiyosaki also revealed plans to increase his Bitcoin holdings in anticipation of the price surge.
