The management of the conglomerate Kakao decided to add support for digital coins to the application after the release of the Samsung Galaxy S10, which has a built-in cryptocurrency storage.

Industry representatives noted that the application will be used as a cryptocurrency wallet and will allow launching various blockchain applications, as well as provide an opportunity to receive and send cryptocurrency without resorting to third-party services.

Note that KakaoTalk is the most popular instant messaging application on the South Korean market. Today it is used by 44 million people.
