Charles Hoskinson Announced the Launch of an Updated Version of the Cardano Network

IOHK CEO, as well as Ethereum co-founder Charles Hoskinson wrote on his Twitter that in the near future Cardano platform will be updated to the new version number 1.6.

Recall that earlier Hoskinson frequently spoke about the attempts of the Cardano development team to modernize the functional part of the blockchain: to increase bandwidth, as well as significantly improve network security.

It is worth noting that now the Cardano network can process transactions exclusively with the coin of the same name (ADA), which was created using the Haskell programming language. The developers advise storing the coin in the Daedalus wallet, which, by the way, can be used as an application to provide backup data for other cryptocurrency wallets and digital coins.

The IOHK team is actively involved in the development and support of Daedalus. It appears that the companies are actively cooperating and are aware of each other's immediate plans, so the words of the IOHK CEO can be considered almost official information. Now it remains only to wait for the updated version of the ADA network and hope that the developers were able to realize all their plans in it.
