India Crypto Ban Consideration is Postponed

The Indian crypto community was very happy about this news, it caused a lot of discussions on social networks. The CEO of Pocketbits cryptocurrency exchange Sohail Merchant expressed the opinion that Indian cryptocurrency users had more time to strengthen their positions.

The general director of the Wazirx exchanger expressed the same opinion. He believes that this is great news for the country's cryptosystem, especially now, when together with other BRICS members, India is planning to create a single cryptocurrency for interstate mutual payments.

As previously reported, the consideration of the draft prepared by the parliamentarians was scheduled for November 18-13, 2019. This was the way interested groups tried to promote a bill on the complete ban on cryptocurrencies in India and the issue of national digital currency.
