Investors: Telegram Open Network Launch may Happen in a Year
According to one of them, Pavel Durov’s team is currently discussing TON start. Speaking about the reasons for the possible rescheduling, the investor emphasized:
Durov’s team is confident that during this time it will be able to resolve all disputes with SEC.
Nevertheless, the final decision will be made only after a court hearing, planned for October 24, which will consider SEC requirement to recognize Gram cryptocurrency as securities.
As you remember, a court have decided to ban temporary the sale of Gram in the United States on October 11. Co-Director of the SEC's Division of Enforcement Steven Peikin commented this situation:
