Stolen Upbit Coins are Moving

Hackers transferred 55,000 ETH equaling $8 million to a number of wallets. It took 10 transactions to complete. Security experts from Whale Alert posted the information on the Twitter account.

First, 1001 coins totaling $149 thousand were transferred, then 10 thousand ETH was transferred to the same address. Fraudsters completed 5 transfers according to this two-level scheme.

Recall that 342,000 ETH was stolen from the Upbit exchange. The total loss amounted to 50 million dollars. The exchange promised to return them to users as soon as the proceedings are over.
