Taobao bans all kinds of products and services related to cryptocurrencies and ICO

In the most recent version of the regulations that was published last Tuesday, Taobao formally banned any private shops which are provide services on the platform, related to ICO including in technological development, marketing and writing any business proposition.
New edition enters into force on April 17. The Act also extends the list of self-regulatory measures of trade platform which included a prohibition on trading in cryptocurrencies, to any goods and services that may be related to this industry, including crypto-animals.
Meanwhile, ban on the sale of chip for cryptocurrency Mining and the manuals on Mining remains.
Taobao referred to certain restrictive measures taken by the People’s Bank of China last year and stressed that shops which would break the rules of the platform, they would be punished severely .
It is remarkable that even after the ban of ICO last year a range of services continued to provide services associated with such campaigns as Taobao and other similar platforms.
