Venezuelan Pensioners will Receive Petro Tokens as a Christmas Gift

A user Armando Rondön notes that the real price of the Venezuelan national cryptocurrency is constantly varying. In fact, it is 50% lower than Petro's fixed rate. Local sources consider the lack of practical use as one of the reasons for the high volatility of the PTR.

In a statement to the Venezuelan tv channel, Maduro said that 27,000 companies use Petro in their settlements, though, in fact, this figure is much lower. Payments in LTC, BTC, and BNB tokens are available at local points of sale, but as for PTR, it`s accepted only in the limited number of stores.
