Telegram Started Testing Gram Cryptocurrency Wallet

As of the time of writing, the wallet works in the TON test network, but it probably should appear on the main network soon. The developers have not yet decided on the final version of the wallet design. Note that this event was quiet and without any official announcements. Besides, it`s not that easy to find a wallet in the alpha version of the messenger.

In any case, the appearance of the wallet in the messenger`s alpha version tells us about the active preparation for the TON project and the GRAM cryptocurrency release. So Telegram is expecting big changes in the coming weeks, but it's difficult to predict the exact release date. The fact is that the various elements of the alpha versions go into beta at different speeds. But since we have a global deadline scheduled for October 31, 2019, there’s a little more than a month to wait.
