Miners Tariffs Were Raised by 300% in Uzbekistan

This decision is a logical continuation of the decree on improving the energy efficiency of the state of the Republic President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of August 22, 2019. Nowadays the price of one kilowatt of electricity for household consumers is 295 soums ($0.03), so miners will have to pay 9 cents per kilowatt.

Uzbekistan government`s attitude to the blockchain

 The President of Uzbekistan created the state blockchain development fund, which was called Digital Trust in September, 2018. The main purpose of this fund is the integration of blockchain in the public sector. Also, this organization is responsible for international investment in the digital economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It should be mentioned that the cryptocurrency market does not fall under the regulation of the country's stock market, so traders and investors are free of taxation.
