SEC to Reconsider Bitcoin ETF

The Bitwise team fully agrees that the mission of the SEC is to protect investors. Launching an ETF requires a lot of checks on all fronts. However, over time, the situation will become clear and uncover problems to be solved.

Recall that the previous application for the opening ETF, filed by Bitwise, was considered in August 2019 and postponed until October. SEC representatives studied it and reached a verdict reject on October 9th.

The website Federalregister.gov does not comment on the regulator`s decision, but there is a rare opportunity, caused by public pressure and petition or at its own discretion.

Given how long companies have been trying to launch the Bitcoin ETF, a deadline shift will bring a considerable revival to the crypto sphere. The BTC rate may increase due to the increased interest from venture investors.
