Anyone over the age of 18 can become a Grams Wallet user if the local laws of that one`s country do not prohibit this. However, there are some limitations: a wallet cannot be used by persons under sanctions, as well as for residents of sanctioned countries. What kind of sanctions and countries are meant in the manual is not reported.

As a commonplace of any secure wallet, it is indicated that monitoring the data from the wallet is entirely the user`s task. The platform does not store any passwords or keys, and if the latter are lost, access to the wallet is lost forever.

There are commissions for transactions in the TON network, but their size is not fixed, and does not depend on Telegram — the amount of fees is to be set by the network participants themselves.

The company launched the alpha version of the Grams wallet on September 26 in testing mode — the first batch of users was able to create and delete a wallet, and exchange tokens between themselves. As we reported earlier, despite the discomfort caused to Telegram by the Russian authorities attempts to block the messenger, the TON blockchain platform is officially scheduled to be launched on time — on the last day of October.
