The Main Crypto Forum Blockchain Life 2019 was Successfully Held in Moscow

A team of Neironix journalists took an active part in the forum having taken several dozen interviews, including with such key figures of the blockchain space as the head of the international project Bithumb Global Javier SIM and CEO of Bitforex Garrett Jean. The interviews will be published in the near future, but for now we woul like to make a report on how the event itself went.

Top industry experts, investors, entrepreneurs and representatives of various startups from 70 countries attended the event. They gathered under a common roof to discuss global industry problems and development trends for the coming years. Investors, companies and fund representatives signed hundreds of contracts in these two fruitful days.

It is noteworthy the Blockchain Life 2019 headliner was the director of the digital currencies development department and the personal assistant of Venezuela President, Joselit Ramirez. This was the first official presentation of the El Petro cryptocurrency at the international level. Mr. Ramirez spoke about the process of creating a state digital currency, listed tasks El Petro solves: starting with the needs of Venezuela citizens and ending with its influence on the state`s macroeconomic processes. Also, he showed real cases of using the cryptocurrency (the purchase of medicines, real estate, equipment, payment for various services, etc).

The forum participants placed on more than 3000 sq.m. There were over 100 companies – representatives of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, manufacturers and suppliers of mining equipment, blockchain startups.

During the event, Sergey Khitrov (Listing.help) spoke about the creation of a new global association IDEO (International Organization for Digital Economy), which focuses on developing digital technologies in the Russian Federation. The association members want to develop and submit proposals for the regulation of the cryptocurrency industry in Russia over the next few years.

Representatives of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges Bitforex.com have announced that they are going to list several promising projects in the near future. Kucoin shared plans to launch a new trading tool – Bitcoin futures contracts. The largest manufacturer of network equipment in the world, Bitmain presented the updated ASIC S17 + and T17 + miners.

After the official part, organizers held a big AfterParty at a Moscow nightclub, where forum participants continued concluding contracts. The famous rapper Guf held the informal part of the meeting with a spectacular live concert.
