According to a comprehensive on-chain report released by QuickNode and Artemis, the period saw a 36% increase in the number of Web3 venture capital (VC) investment deals compared to the last quarter of 2023. The report, which closely analyzes investment trends within the sector, identified AI and gaming as the primary beneficiaries of this renewed venture capital enthusiasm.

Notably, on April 9, Paradigm led a substantial $225 million funding round into Monad Labs, aiming to develop a competitive layer-1 blockchain network.
