Bitcoin VS Gold: Profitability for the Last 7 Years

A Twitter user with nickname Rampage carried a comparative analysis of these two assets price behavior. He started his micro-research in 2012 when a troy ounce cost $1800, and one Bitcoin cost $10. At the time of this writing, gold costs $1,490, while one BTC costs about $8,200.
It turns out that the recent forecast of the Bitcoin skeptic Peter Schiff is misplaced. Recall that Schiff wrote on his Twitter a few days ago that the rate of the first cryptocurrency would soon fall to $2000 or even lower.
Note that Peter became known precisely due to his pessimistic forecasts regarding Bitcoin. But none of his “predictions” has come true so far. A large amount of institutional money has come to the cryptocurrency market recently and it is an excellent counterargument to Peter Schiff's forecast.
Earlier we wrote that the custodian Anchorage for institutional investors was launched.
